Luckyfoot Ranch is a small farm located in southern Rhode Island. We are locally-oriented, and commited to the sustainable use of resources and the application of organic growing practices. Founded in 2009, we are now going into our seventh growing season on five acres in beautiful North Kingstown. Our main focus is on a wide variety of vegetables, ranging from common staples like tomatoes, peppers, and lettuce; to seasonal favorites like cucumbers and winter squash; to more uncommon novelties such as our famous husk cherries and nettles. But with these crops, we don’t just grow the usual red tomatoes, purple eggplant, and green romaine, but a rainbow of every color (and flavor!) we can find! For we believe produce shouldn’t just be art to the palate, but to the eyes as well!
As of 2014, we have a farm kitchen to produce a variety of canned goods including jams, jellies, pickles, their renown salsa, and more! We try to use as much of our own fruits and vegetables in the kitchen, and obtain as much as possible from local sources for the things we cannot produce.
