Travis Family Farm is home to Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap, a collaborative family endeavor which began in 2009 and continues to grow today. Rachyl decided at the age of 9 that she wanted to contribute to the household, and with the help of her sister researched the production of goat milk soap. She found the best type of goat to be Nubians. Five years and gallons of oil and milk later, and she’s happy to say “successful and growing!” – adding new products such as all natural soy wax candles and goat milk body butter to their product line.
Travis Family Farm, created in 1994 by David and Lillian Travis, is located in North Scituate, Rhode Island. Our human kids Mical, Jaklyn, Jekub, Kelub, Noah, Rachyl and Izek welcome you to come experience our “non-human kids,” who are our Nubian herd of goats, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, a pig, and a peacock.

Twisted Piggie Sauce Co. is a new, Rhode Island family-owned business, specializing in all-natural barbecue sauces.
Created by Chef Joel Henry, Twisted Piggie got its start in a friend’s backyard in July 2011. Rather than use store-bought barbecue sauce for a bachelor party catering gig, Joel decided he’d prepare his own. The response from the party’s attendees and Joel’s own friends and family was overwhelmingly positive. “Bottle it!” they said. And so, here we are.
