Runner’s World Review. Inov-8 has long made thin, light shoes that excel on a variety of extreme terrain, but the TrailRoc 285 is the shoe to reach for when traversing hard, rocky ground. Natural running company Inov-8 introduces TrailRoc, a new range of trail running shoes designed specifically for running on loose, rugged and eroded trails. With three different options (Trailroc 235, zero drop; Trailroc 245, 3mm drop; Trailroc 255, 6mm drop) of varying cushioning, protection and differential, there is a new TrailRoc shoe for every trail runner’s need.

J’ai testé tous le week end les trailroc en alternance avec les saucony xodus qui font le même poids c’est-à-dire 340 gr pour un 45,5 inov 8 trailroc 255 (on est loin des 255 Gr !!) et un 46,5 chez la saucony. The Inov-8 Trailroc 255 is a trail shoe that offers flexible performance and comfort in the off-road paths. Those who need stability are going to enjoy this one because it cradles the midfoot adequately. Given the praises and negative comments, Inov-8 still needs to improve some aspects of the shoe to fully get the approval of the majority.

My review of the Inov-8 Trailroc 255s with focus on their use as a mountain training shoe can be found here: Inov-8 Trailroc 255 Review Stock Photo of the Trailroc 245s - photo stolen from the Internet. The Trailroc 245 shoes initially sparked my interest because they appeared to be a more rugged trail shoe built on many of the same principles as the f-lite 195 that I've been a huge fan of and I would recommend the 245 for minimal runners looking for a long distance racer/trainer. I would also recommend the Trailroc series (perhaps more so the 255) to runners looking to change to minimal shoes, get closer to the ground and enjoy trail running. Would I fork out my penny’s again for a Trailroc….Yes, indeed (and yes, I did for this

Inov-8 TrailRoc 285 shoes review. A couple of months ago Inov-8 via Freestak kindly sent me a pair of TrailRoc 285 shoes to trial, which at that point in time hadn't even been released.

Runner’s World Review. Inov-8 has long made thin, light shoes that excel on a variety of extreme terrain, but the TrailRoc 285 is the shoe to reach for when traversing hard, rocky ground. As the Trailroc series from Inov-8 has already established a following among consumers, it comes as no surprise that the Trailroc 285 garnered mostly positive reviews. Praises were given to the shoe’s performance and efficient technologies, as well as encouraging comments on the fit. With minor criticisms surrounding the price and structural
